I was born and raised in Tsurumi Ward, Osaka. At the time, barely any of the area had sewerage, and foul-smelling canals flowed nearby. With metalworking and plating factories all around, my story started in the noisy city of Osaka, full of vibrance and energy. I was a restless child with a rampant curiosity. I ran around hunting insects, fishing, playing baseball, or otherwise. From junior high school, I started playing tennis. In high school, I biked around on my motorcycle, doing a circuit of Shikoku among places. In college, I went skiing with my friends, then started playing golf when I graduated. Having always liked camping and the outdoors, I think that riding around in my SUV and getting in touch with nature heightened my senses and lead me to my profession.
Work history
I joined DAIKEN SEKKEI in September 1993 and have been involved in many projects as a designer of electrical equipment. I've worked on Osaka's underground shopping area enough that I could just about draw a map of the facilities from memory. In addition, I continue striving to instill in others the importance of equipment design in places such as production facilities, welfare facilities, educational facilities, residential facilities, administrative facilities, and cultural facilities. As Deputy General Manager of the Osaka Office and General Manager of Total Solution Environmental Operations, I am currently engaged in consultations with the facility engineers in all offices and planning of project assignments.

How I spend days off
Our children have grown, so recently I travel and go for drives with my wife. To help with my lack of exercise, I enjoy golfing on weekends, but my rounds are often spent enjoying the conversations rather than keeping track of the score. Occasionally, I like to go camping solo, making my favorite food and enjoying a drink while watching the campfire.
