I joined the DAIKEN SEKKEI Osaka Office in 1993, and then worked at the Kyushu Office before returning to the Osaka Office. Now, as the Osaka Office General Manager, I have brought together an organization with a lot of individuality. As an architectural designer, I have been involved in designing structures for various applications, in the process of which I have always embraced rising to challenges. Challenges come in all sizes, and they don’t always end in success. However, I believe that anything new or anything I believe might be possible will add value to the architecture and improve its quality.

I want to continue to rise to the challenge, and create architecture of such high quality that the stakeholders and those who experience it can’t help but fall in love.

My Enjoyments

Outside of work, I have always enjoyed being physically active and have played various sports, including soccer, tennis, and skiing. Recently, it has been only golf, but I love watching all kinds of sports and enjoy watching live games.

Another of my pleasures is to visit various places in Japan and abroad to eat and experience the local things unique to that area.
