At the same time, we will continue to solidify our management foundation that allows us to focus on our work with peace of mind. DAIKEN SEKKEI is constantly striving to create “new value”.

Conduct Philosophy

DAIKEN SEKKEI is an organizational design firm specializing in comprehensive planning and design for designs, architectural structures, architectural facilities, and engineering systems. We have offices in Tokyo, Osaka, and throughout the country, staffed with engineers who offer clients various architecture-related services (design, supervision, consulting services, etc.) with a speedy, honest attitude.

DAIKEN SEKKEI is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2018. Drawing on the experience and performance record gained from the various diverse projects we have undertaken during this time, we not only meet our clients’ wide-ranging needs, but serve as a helpful partner. Going forward, all our employees will continue to work toward these objectives as an integrated team.

Beyond this, each of our employees hold high ethical standards as “corporate citizens,” and have made efforts toward company initiatives which contribute to society (Corporate Social Responsibility). Going forward, our company will maintain thorough awareness of strict legal compliance and protection of personal information based on our corporate philosophy, and deliver on our promise to enact initiatives with the goals of contributing to environmental consciousness and cultural development.

Quality Management Initiatives

We have built a quality management system that conforms with ISO 9001: 2015 (JIS Q9001: 2015) international standards and, based on our high standards for quality management, we provide building design and supervision services that meet the requirements of architects and the applicable laws and regulations from our offices and branches in Tokyo, Osaka, and throughout Japan. Utilizing the strengths of our structural design offices, we maintain quality by way of reviews throughout the design process, verification of design, structure, equipment, cost management and supervision departments, and appropriate validation by the project leader. Approval is then obtained from the office manager before delivery to the architect at an assured quality standard.

Action Plan Based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children and Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace

The following action plan was set forth in order to enable employees to continue working while raising children, and to ensure that women can continue to contribute to the company.

At Daiken Sekkei, we protect our information assets, including information entrusted to us by our customers, from accidents, disasters, crimes, and other threats. To live up to the trust of our customers and society, we will secure information throughout the company based on the policies given below.

We strive to systematically and continuously improve and enhance our information security under the leadership of management.
Maintaining Internal Structure
We have established a structure for maintaining and improving information security, and we will establish and apply rules for information security, the handling of personal information, and the handling of specified personal information in accordance with internal regulations.

Our employees are to acquire the knowledge and skills required for information security and ensure their commitment to information security.
Compliance with Laws and Contractual Requirements
We will comply with laws, regulations, codes, and contractual obligations related to information security to meet customer expectations.
Response to Violations and Incidents
In the event of a violation of laws or regulations, a breach of contract, or an incident related to information security, we will respond appropriately and strive to prevent recurrence.

Achieving Employee Happiness

Daiken Sekkei is working to improve our office environments and advance DX, with a focus on health management. We will create warm workplaces where employees will feel happy and comfortable by enriching employment conditions and the work ecosystem.

We are in constant pursuit of the optimal work style (work-life balance) and respond flexibly to organizational changes and improvements in the work ecosystem.
Promoting Women's Participation and Support for Raising Next-Generation Children
We will enhance systems to enable diverse work styles and support the generation that will carry us into the future. We are Eruboshi Certified (2 stars) under the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace.
Employee Health
We will continue to improve our work ecosystem and strive to make the workplace somewhere that our employees can feel at ease in working. In addition, we have implemented mental health care initiatives to support employees in maintaining their mental and physical health.
