Action Plan Based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children and Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace
The following action plan has been formulated to create a work environment where employees who will lead the next generation are able to exercise their abilities while balancing work and family life, as well as to create an employment and work environment where women can continue to play an active role.
1. Action plan period
April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2028
2. Goals
Goal 1: Increase the ratio of female managers to at least 8%. Goal 2: Reduce the number of employees who work long hours (45 hours or more of overtime per month) three or more times by 20% compared to 2025 levels. Goal 3: Ensure that 100% of male employees take at least two weeks of childcare leave.
3. Measures
- Measures for Goal 1
- Conduct career interviews before childcare leave and follow-up interviews after returning to work to ensure a work environment where career development is not interrupted during the childcare period.
- Provide opportunities for female employees to exchange information with one another.
- Conduct online training useful for career development.
- Measures for Goal 2
- Strengthen attendance management by team leaders.
- Adjust workload through early intervention.
- Encourage employees to take annual paid leave by enhancing the specified periods for taking paid annual leave (such as paid leave incentive days) and raising employee awareness.
- Measures for Goal 3
- Communicate messages to department heads and managers to create an environment where male employees can more easily take childcare leave.
- Raise employee awareness of available systems to lower the psychological barriers to taking childcare leave.
