01Action Plan Based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children and Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace

The following action plan has been formulated to create a work environment where employees are able to exercise their abilities while balancing work and family life, as well as to create an employment and work environment where women can continue to play an active role.

1. Action plan period

April 1, 2024 - March 31, 2026

2. Issues to be addressed

There are issues with the work environment and utilization of systems for ensuring employee work-life balance.

・The ratio of female employees and female managers is low.
・There are issues with systems for ensuring work-life balance.

3. Goals

Goal 1: Increase the ratio of female employees in technical positions to at least 20%.
Goal 2: Ensure that at least 70% of annual paid leave days1 are used.
Goal 3: Expand systems which allow work styles catered for employees raising children.

4. Measures

Strengthen PR activities in recruitment to encourage female applicants, and foster an environment which promotes high career awareness among female employees.

・Actively promote the company by posting a dedicated webpage for women's participation on the company website.

Encourage employees to take annual paid leave.

・Secure legal holidays.
・Manage the use of and encourage employees to take paid leave by raising employee awareness and enhancing the specified periods for taking paid annual leave (planned number of paid annual leave days granted, annual paid leave incentive days).

Enhance the variety of work systems made available to employees raising children.

・So as to enhance access to working hours that take into consideration daycare drop-off and pick-up times, a new system will be introduced allowing employees flexibility in working style.
